By downloading, installing, or using Rewind, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Rewind is a tool that helps you evaluate VHS tapes while thrifting. You photograph tape spines or covers, and the app provides recommendations based on your taste profile. Recommendations are opinions, not guarantees of value or quality.

Recommendations, evaluations, and identifications are generated automatically and may contain errors. Rewind does not guarantee the accuracy of tape identification, value assessments, or recommendations. Purchase decisions are your own responsibility.

You agree to use Rewind for its intended purpose of evaluating VHS tapes. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the service. Automated or bulk access to Rewind's servers outside of normal app usage is prohibited.

Photos you scan are transmitted to Rewind's server for processing. Location data and other metadata are stripped from photos before transmission. Photos are not retained on the server after processing completes. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to photograph any content you scan.

By using Rewind, you agree to the collection of usage analytics and device information as described in our Privacy Policy. This data helps us maintain and improve the service.

Rewind relies on third-party services for processing. The app may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, server issues, or third-party outages. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service.

Rewind is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any losses, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to purchases made based on recommendations.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Rewind after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
